    I am the detective and scientist of the jewelry industry.   As a former educator, I also enjoy using my microscope-camera and computer monitor to show you inclusions within a diamond or other gemstone, as well as other attributes of your jewelry.  

     After working in a jewelry appraisal laboratory from 1987 through 2000, I started my own jewelry appraisal business in November of 2000.

I provide independent, unbiased appraisals of diamonds, colored gemstones and jewelry of all descriptions.   I DO NOT buy or sell  jewelry, nor am I affiliated with any retail jewelry store. 

     As a senior member of The National Association of Jewelry Appraisers,  I attend as many February and August conferences as possible.  There we learn about new gemstones being marketed, new diamond and colored stone enhancement techniques, and new practices, laws and procedures applicable to the jewelry appraisal profession.

      I am a member of the Better Business Bureau  with an A+ rating.
